  • Ted Kennedy – some people are happy he has died. I don’t think there is anything to celebrate here. We’ll go over this topic in detail today because of two things –
  • The democrats think they need to replace him with another beknighted “Lion of the Party”
  • And many in the GOP – just like they have done with Sarah Palin being elevated to a Obama-like cult of personality messianic status – many in the GOP feel like “we need our own Lion of the Party” So let’s talk about all of this and maybe point at some of the policy and partisanship issues that are the legacy of Ted Kennedy.
  • Charlie Rangel is having tax issues – now we’ve mentioned this before, but I have a few more words on this topic.
  • While I am certain it will be passed in the next year to 18 months, the Healthcare Bill is taking on the attributes of a true political fiasco – more on this issue today.
  • If we have time, I’d like to share an article from the America conservative magazine by Daniel Larison – who asks: Why is our Russia policy so foolish?
